“Maa Siddhidatri” is The Ninth Form of Goddess Maa Durga
“Maa Siddhidatri” : The holly festival of Navratri is celebrated in the respect of Mas Durga Maa, This festival of Navratri, i.e. nine forms of Maa Durga is devoted for nine days and nights. In fact, Navratri is celebrated for the nine stages of a woman’s life in the form a new born, a toddler, an adolescent, a young woman, a sister, a wife, a mother, mother-in-law and grandmother.
For Hindus, deity of Maa Durga is considered to be very special, she is worshipped for her nine different forms, each form is known for its special shakti and uniqueness this nine different manifestations of Maa Durga are called Navadurga .
Hindus all over the India celebrate Navdurga and her different forms during this nine days . This festive is celebrated in a grand manner in the state of Maharashtra, Gujarat, west Bengal and Assam. There is huge rush in temples all over India during navratri. Many jagarans , bhajan sandhyas are conducted during this time. Navaratri, is held in the month of September / October, its depend on the Hindu lunisolar calendar. The night of Navaratri is celebrated in the honors one of each form of Maa Durga. Devotees offers pujas, keep fast and conduct Kanya puja were small girls are worshipped as avatar(symbol) of maa durga. Many places specially Gujarat and Maharshtra Men and women together plays Garbha, Dandiya, there is no age limit in performing this dances. The purpose is to enjoy the festival with religiously and bring happiness in everyone’s life.
Maa Siddhidatri –
Maa Siddhidatri is the ninth form of Durga and the last among the nine forms of Maa Durga worshiped on the final day of Navratri. Maa Siddhidatri is said to be possessor of 26 different wishes siddhis.
In Sanskrit ‘Siddhi’ stands for ‘accomplishment, or successive.’ As per Vedic script it refers to a debt settlement. It is said that during Navratri devotees worshipped these nine forms of Maa durga and after having worshipped the eight Durgas in a full religious manner, devotees worship this ninth form of Maa durga called Siddhidarti and accomplish their all material necessities and desires. Maa Siddhidatri is known for goddess of wealth , skills, beauty and accomplishment of worldly desires .

Maa is seen to be seated on a lotus flower. She is having four limbs. Holding a mace in the upper limb and a Chakra in her right lower hand and. In her left lower limb she have a conch and in upper left limb she is holding a lotus flower. Maa is dressed up in traditional attire in red sari with beautiful ornaments
